There are many opportunities to get involved in leadership and service at a District and Conference.

DISTRICT

DISTRICT A-TEAMS

These are gathering open for all Youth and Young Adult Workers from a District to get together and connect to plan events, training, and support each other. Each District will select meeting time and place. To connect with your District A-Team please contact your local District Youth and/or Young Adult Coordinator.

CONFERENCE

CCYM: Conference Council on Youth Ministries

CCYM is the official entity that represents Youth at a Conference level. Our ultimate goal is to seek to strengthen the youth ministry in the local churches and districts of the Annual Conference by initiating and planning activities and projects that are of particular interest to youth. CCYM provides influence and leadership to such events as Youth Alive, Spirit Quest and Annual Conference (Youth Day). We promote and distribute the Youth Service Fund. YSF is a mission fund that provides financial support to churches and individuals who are seeking to be in ministry with youth. CCYM includes an adult Coordinator, and three Youth Representatives from each of the eight districts. Contact your District A-Team for more information about being a CCYM representative.

CCYA: Conference Council for Young Adults

CCYA is the official entity that represents Young Adults at a Conference level. Our ultimate goal is to seek to strengthen the Young Adult ministry in the local churches and Districts of the Annual Conference by initiating and planning activities and projects that are of particular interest to young adults. CCYA supports several Conference-wide events including the Fall Retreat, Young Adult Summit, and Missions. Contact your District A-Team for more information about being a CCYA representative.

Event Staff

The Event Staff is the planning and development team for each of the Conference Events including Youth Alive, Spirit Quest, Spanglish, Young Adult Summit and Annual Conference. Event Staff works with a team of volunteers in a specific area to develop innovative and effective program dynamics for the benefit of our young people.
