This event brought out fans and participants of all ages, including two local adult Dodgeball leagues, who graciously assisted in refereeing the games. The games were played using four courts in a double elimination style tournament.

Of course the question came up, how exactly can Dodge Ball make a difference in the world? The answer is simple, each player on each of the 24 teams was asked to contribute $10 per player, as they could, to donate to charity. With these donations we were able to purchase 13 farm animals, 1 alpaca, 1 donkey, 4 ducks, 1 goat, and 4 Bibles from World Vision. So not only did our youth, young adults and community members get to play or cheer for exciting games of Dodgeball, but for this one day we stepped forward as a community of faith to send livestock, Bibles and UMCOR health kits to those who are in far greater need.
