About “WHO’ S YOUR HERO?”
winter camp for juniors & seniors grades 6 to 12
Men in tights. We expect them to save the day and stop a speeding bullet before the commercial break. But real heroes aren’t found in comic books or on the cartoon channel.
The Bible is full of young people who lived wild and crazy lives – FOR GOD! They threw caution to the wind and allowed God to use them in super natural ways. 1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” God has a plan for your life as well. Each of us is called to greatness. There really is a hero in all of us. We’ve all been designed by God to be a blessing to many – a hero to some.

About “THE LORD OF THE DANCE”
winter camp for elementary grades 2 to 5
How do we experience the life of Christ? As we “dance” through the events of his life, we can fi nd love and caring in the lessons that Jesus taught us. Ephesians 5:1-2 says, “Follow God’s example in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life fi lled with love for others, following the example of Christ, who loved you and gave himself as a sacrifi ce to take away your sins. And God was pleased, because that sacrifi ce was like sweet perfume to him.” What is your “dance?” How is your
story told? God is pleased with you, too!
DEANS: Amy Bahnson & Denise Cundari
